Silty runoff from Peyto Glacier feeds into its namesake lake along the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Named for Bill Peyto, an early trail guide and trapper in the Canadian Rockies, the suspended rock particles in the water give the lake its lovely aquamarine color.
